A Christian statue made of wood which was acquired by Ilana Goor during her globetrotting. The statue depicts a holy female figure dressed modestly wrapping herself in a cloak and in her hands a small cross. This statue, as many of the Christian statues, was designed, in the period that it was created, to convey to the believers Christian examples and art. It was made as a ritual object and not as an artistic piece in itself, with the objective of arousing religious identity and enlightening Christianity on its various levels.
