This sculpture also belongs to Ilana Goor's "earth" series, which is made from rusty ploughs and wooden flails creating different animals. Because of the composition whereby the sculpture portrays a raised head, an inflorescence of feathers and a tail spread wide open, it was only natural that it acquired the nickname of "Proud Turkey".
