An ancient statue found by Ilana Goor during her globetrotting. This statue is the largest in the Christian Room of the Museum. It is formed as a male figure of the previous century dressed modestly and in large dimensions of human height, which gives the entire room a majestic sanctity. It is made of wood and iron and in his hand a flower as a symbol of peace. In this pleasant and comfortable form which is recurrent in many divine sculptures, Christianity succeeded in attracting many believers in the previous centuries. The sculptures are not made in the name of art but rather as ritual objects. The identity of the figure and its date have not been precisely deciphered; one can see Jesus in it, one of the apostles or the saints that followed them.
