This magnificent, colorful throne served the tribal chiefs who succeeded one another from one generation to the next in Cameroon's Bamileke Kingdom. Its impressive design reveals a work of art boasting 200,000 colorful beads interwoven in the shape of reptiles, fowls and masks in graphic shapes and framed with a row of diamonds. The throne's wooden legs give it maximum stability.
