Ron Arad, considered to be one of the most successful designers worldwide, tends to design items of furniture and light fittings from ready-made available materials whereby he introduces them into a totally different context (similar to some of Ilana Goor’s works). The table lamp that he designed in the eighties is also made of various iron parts and a dominant antenna functioning as the spine of the body and from this the piece’s title.
